Joan Ryan MP has visited the Uniper Power Station in Enfield North.

It was great to visit the Uniper Power Station in Enfield this week and to meet so many of the 35 people the company employs in our community.

I had the opportunity to discuss how Uniper, with the latest technology, is helping to tackle air pollution and support the transition to a low carbon society.

Air pollution is one of London’s biggest problems and I believe it is important to meet and work with energy providers who are reducing pollutants and emissions into the atmosphere.

For our community and our economy, it is vital that energy infrastructure is able to provide cleaner, more affordable and secure energy. Companies like Uniper will have an important role to play in helping to make this happen.
