Joan Ryan MP visits Bishop Stopford's School

Joan Ryan MP visited the school to see how sixth formers have been given greater access to top universities in the UK.

Today I met with Year 12 pupils at Bishop Stopford's School to hear more about their progress as part of The Brilliant Club's Scholars Programme - a prestigious national scheme which gives school pupils an opportunity to experience university-style learning.

I was impressed by how they engaged with the complex and challenging academic topics. It just goes to show what young people from Enfield can achieve if we give them the opportunity. I wish the pupils the very best for the future.
