Joan Ryan MP calls for urgent action on rising violent crime

Joan Ryan MP has called on the Prime Minister and Home Secretary to urgently meet with London's Labour MPs and Sadiq Khan.

I am calling on the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary to meet with London's Labour MPs and Sadiq Khan, to discuss how we can tackle rising violent crime in our city.

Violent crime has been on the rise since 2014 and in recent weeks we have seen too many lives lost on the streets of London to guns and knives.

This is neither acceptable nor inevitable.

We need urgent action from the Government to keep London's streets safe.
